InfraNotes

Financial operations, planning, and accounting

An integrated financial operations, planning, and accounting platform for individuals, growing businesses, project-led teams, and grant-funded organisations.

Discuss a project

What it is

InfraNotes is an integrated financial operations, planning, and accounting platform. It spans personal finance, business spend, budgeting and forecasting, invoicing and payments, vendors and procurement, payroll, projects, assets, inventory, grants, incidents, documents, accounting, reconciliation, and reporting.

The platform is delivered as a set of tenant-aware services behind a single workflow-oriented frontend, with domain ownership expressed at the gateway rather than in one undifferentiated backend. Capabilities are enabled in approved stages rather than as a single suite.

Capabilities

Financial operations

Expenses, reimbursements, cards, invoices, approvals, and payments, with idempotent operations and append-only audit patterns.

Planning and intelligence

Budgets, forecasts, scenarios, cash-flow planning, goals, and anomaly and recurrence analysis. This is deterministic statistics and rules, not model-driven forecasting.

Business operations

Procurement, vendors, payroll, projects, assets, inventory, grants, incidents, and documents.

Accounting and control

General ledger, chart of accounts, journals, AP/AR, reconciliation, close, consolidation, and reporting.

Platform foundation

Identity, tenant isolation, workflow routing, auditability, observability, and event-driven integration.

Who it is for

  • Individuals and freelancers managing income, expenses, invoices, documents, plans, and goals.
  • SMB finance and operations teams managing spend, cards, reimbursements, vendors, invoices, payroll, and planning.
  • Controllers and formal finance teams managing ledger, AP/AR, reconciliation, close, statements, and consolidation.
  • Project-led businesses, procurement teams, asset-heavy organisations, and grant-funded organisations.

These are supported personas and designed audiences, not evidence of current customers.

Technical proof

  • Go operational services and Rust deterministic engines behind a single workflow-oriented frontend.
  • PostgreSQL tenant-aware durable state, Redis coordination, Kafka and outbox integration, REST/OpenAPI and protobuf contracts.
  • Domain ownership expressed at the gateway instead of one undifferentiated backend.
  • Idempotent financial operations and append-only audit patterns.
  • Fail-closed compliance evaluation inside the ledger journal transaction path.
  • Attesta-oriented sealing and verification in document-version workflows.
  • Project finance designed to aggregate vendor, payroll, asset, and core events.

Availability and scope

Available by assessment · staged delivery

The original financial-operations service, frontend, gateway, personal module, vendor, project finance, payroll, and assets have production-target GitOps declarations. Identity, financial intelligence, documents, grants, incidents, inventory, core ledger, accounting engine, reconciliation, and accounting reports currently have staging or preproduction declarations only. A manifest proves intended deployment configuration, not successful rollout, live traffic, service levels, or customers.

Current limitations

  • Not every service is deployed to production, and the suite is not generally available as a whole.
  • Planning and accounting logic is deterministic statistics and rules. It is not AI-powered forecasting or accounting.
  • Tax, payroll, IAS/IFRS treatment, statutory filing, and bank integrations are not claimed as globally correct.
  • Tax summaries are reporting output. They are not filing assurance.
  • Cross-service workflows are described as the designed workflow model unless a current end-to-end environment test is supplied.
  • The accounting umbrella repository is documentation and coordination only. It has no runtime and is not a deployable service.
  • No certification, adoption, uptime, or scale claims are made.
